We were originally contacted by BT explaining that our copper lines were being phased out and that an alternative system was going to be replacing them. As part of the switchover, they were offering a grant type service to cover the costs of putting in a new telephone system. Hiicom was recommended to us as a third party to deal with this.
Our first point of contact from Hiicom was Tom, the business development manager. He organised to come to see us and evaluate our requirements to see what they can offer.
He then left us with a rough estimate for our required number of telephones including corded, cordless & also broadband.
In the meantime, Tom gave us a couple of courtesy calls to follow up and answered some of our questions. He was knowledgeable and anything he couldn't answer he went away and came back quickly with the answer.
After considering the price we invited Tom back & decided to proceed. We adjusted the requirements on-site and added what we required to what was initially offered. Hiicom even accounted for some of our termination fees to get out of our current contract. The contract was then agreed upon and signed at which point we were handed over to the technical team for scheduling.
I received a call from Monty in the technical department. He informed me when we would expect OpenReach to be visiting to install our new line and get us ready for the new switch-over date from our old provider. He also provided a date of when we can expect the Hiicom Engineer to arrive and set up the new telephone system.
Openreach didn't arrive on the first expected date, however, Monty in Technical was straight on to them chasing them up. A new date was organised.
In the meantime, Kevin from Hiicom arrived and got all the phone systems & internal cables set up. He was very friendly and helpful. Knew exactly what he was doing.
The OpenReach engineer did arrive a few days after Kevins’ departure and installed the line for us. There were a few questions when the engineer arrived & Alex in technical was on hand to answer all of the engineer's questions. He was just as knowledgeable and helpful as Monty and ensured the line got installed exactly as required.
Once the line was activated we were straight online. The broadband was a simple name & password on the settings page and we were online.
There have been a few minor points where we have needed to seek advice but between Monty & Alex, they have been quick to resolve our issues.
A couple of minor points to work on would be:
Providing instruction manuals upfront for the devices. We have a few members of staff who all needed the training to use the devices. We did have to request the documents a couple of times before we received them. Once we did, they were easy to follow and informative.
A couple of the headsets never arrived with the other devices. A minor setback but still took a couple of requests before they arrived.
Other than that I can't fault them. We really appreciate your hard work and support & look forward to working with you for many years to come.

Dean came out to meet us earlier in the year and went through our requirements and was able to give me a price on the spot. He knew what we needed and how he could help. I have spoken with Liam, Alex and Monty in the office who have always been incredibly helpful and fast to resolve any hiccups. HiiCom are saving us a fortune in time and money with the set up they have provided.

Very happy with Hi-Comm. Been with them for a month now & nothing is too much trouble. Both Monty & Alex always come across as happy & chatty. They are also always happy to talk us through anything that is needed on the phone. Great customer service. More than pleased with the service.

Great service at an affordable price. Installation went smoothly. Technical support has been good with assistance from friendly advisors however could have quicker response times.

Absolute Waste of time. The director of the company makes false promises to bring you better/faster internet and a reliable connection. 4 months down the line and we are still paying BT and Hiicom and our phone lines go down 2/3 times a week. Also the updated interned has not been installed as promised and we are still running on the previous one and the director of the company will no longer answer our phone calls.
I would not recommend this company at all.
